Bundó Display - How to internationalise a company

Bundó Display is a family owned company born in Barcelona in 1965. Hence, they have a lot of expertise on what they do: designing and manufacturing point of sale displays. They work side by side with customers from different sectors and countries, including well-known brands such as Tous, Nike, McCormick, Babyliss Paris, Prada, Carolina Herrera, Michelin or Coca-Cola.

Recently, to overcome the difficult situation in the Spanish market, the company lived a process of internationalization. Marc Bundó, CEO of the company, presented us the context in which the firm was; the obstacles they had to overcome in order to expand their activity to France; as well as the results of their strategy.

Students had an unique opportunity to see a real-life case of business internationalization. Surely it will be a helpful learning for their professional careers, as nowadays lots of firms have to make this same step in order to survive.

Also, David Arasa, export executive manager of Bundó Display, introduced to students all the job opportunities offered at Bundó Display. He recently graduated on International Business Economics at UPF, so his experience and advices were really worth taking into consideration.
